This one really captured the sunset, one can tell that it is the last bit of dusk, on to twilight (or is dusk after twilight...) and it will be dark very soon.
I like the water, sky and the sign post. The forground and buildings are rather vague, I will reserve judgement on these when I see it hanging, I think.
I like this one, and I actually rather like the vagueness...gives me the same feeling as Monet's, sunrise (even though yours is sunset. This piece feeds into any emotion you are feeling while looking at it. If you are happy it can make you feel happier, if you are lonely you feel more lonely etc...to me this piece seems to hold this beautiful calming sense of humility. Good work Eileen!!
