Today I felt like I was learning to paint all over again. I was putting colors and shapes on the canvas with little sense of familiarity. I'm not through with Italy yet.
I’m interested in the unfinished paintings because I never really thought of how much work went into them. It makes me want to go to Italy. I like the subject, the alleyway. I’m curious to see what colors will be added to finish up the work.
