T- Minus 79

Here is yesterday's progress. I reluctantly admit that I see an autobiographic narrative emerging in this piece. The literal bicycle reference combined with the figure's placement just outside of the piazza is so EFG. Enough of that. The challenge here is the transition from foreground to background and also, the color. I'm wondering how selective to get with the intense colors.

  1. Hello, I had a question pertaining to the form of (I'm not even quite sure what to call it, maybe linear perspective?) that you use when scaling down the buildings that border the road heading into the background. Is there any type of specific amount to scale by? Or is it mostly just whatever looks like it fits? Also, what would be the correct terminology for that? Or am I over thinking it, and it's just simple scaling down things as you move further away?

  2. I'd just like to add to my other comment, I'm primarily curious because you specifically mentioned how that transition is challenging, and I think It would be interesting to hear how you dealt with it.
